Slowing down, pulling away, and creating space for God to speak into your life and leadership

Many leaders today are…

  • stressed & anxious

  • nearing burn out

  • stuck in the same pattern of always doing what the “industry standard” or “best practices” says you should do

  • facing problems that come at them from all sides

  • lacking clarity on who they are and how to lead their organization and their people

There is a different way to lead!

What if you could keep up with the pace and demands of leadership…and do it with internal peace, new strategies, clarity, and wisdom that comes from a daily connection to God!

eremos retreats & Cohorts

The name “eremos” is Greek for a ‘Quiet or deserted place’ or ‘Desolate place’

Jesus uses ‘eremos’ in Mark 1:35, “And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place and there he prayed.”

Sign-ups are open for the April 22-24 Eremos Retreat!

Space is limited to 6 participants

The Eremos Retreat/Cohort is for college athletic directors and business leaders where you will learn to hear God’s voice and help you build a stronger connection between your life with God and your leadership.

Retreat

During the retreat, participants will immerse themselves in a carefully curated experience over two days and two nights, centering on three pillars of leadership:

  • Connect to God: This is where everything starts. We will spend time simply connecting to Jesus. We will dive into Jesus’ model for leadership, learn to hear how God speaks to you, abiding, rhythms of rest, and how to avoid burnout and exhaustion.

  • Leading Self: Delving into self-discovery and self-awareness, this aspect encourages understanding of our true identity, our strengths and weaknesses, our leadership fingerprint, and charts a path toward personal growth.

  • Leading Others: Here, the focus shifts to the art of leading others. Participants will collaboratively cultivate insights, offering diverse perspectives and strategies that foster growth and refinement in our leadership approach. By mutually learning from one another, we'll have the chance to enhance our leadership skills, gain valuable insights into how others walk with the Spirit in their professional lives, and explore what it means to lead with Jesus at the heart of all our endeavors.

You will leave this retreat with a deeper connection to Jesus, with greater self-awareness, and with sharper leadership skills. You will walk away a better leader for your people and organization.

*Topics include- Silence and solitude, Jesus’ model of mountaintop leadership, routines and rhythms, identity, leadership fingerprint, leading your staff, etc. Participants will also be provided with a 360’ Assessment.

Cohort

Once the retreat has concluded, we are just beginning. The cohort is designed to ward off the ‘camp high’. During the course of the next four months, we will convene monthly as a group creating a time for follow-up, continued learning and insights to deeper growth.

“I really appreciate Travis’ intentionality of developing a balance of valuable content and time for self-reflection that is an ideal formula for the challenges facing today’s Athletic Directors. I would highly recommend leaders looking to better themselves both personally and professionally to spend time with Travis.”

Zack Lassiter - Abilene Christian University

“This retreat was everything I hoped it would be. I left feeling rejuvenated and deeply connected with the Lord! It impacted me spiritually, professionally, and personally. As a leader I found incredible value in the entire experience. Given the opportunity, I would take this retreat every year”

John Maupin - Lee University

“As a faith driven leader this retreat was unexpectedly essential for my own growth. The inspirational, winsome, and gospel centered direction provided by Travis is truly elite, and was deeply impactful for me. I honestly can't imagine a more effective or important way to use 48 hours”

Tim Sceggel - LeTourneau University
