Transmutation: The action of changing; or the state of being changed into another form.

I don’t know anyone who welcomes or delights in tough times. We all try to avoid them like the plague.
However, it is in tough times or in these times of “pressure” or “getting squeezed” that true growth and transformation happen.
The intention of this week’s email is to encourage you if you are going through a tough time.
Hang in there!
If we handle them right, tough times won’t be wasted. They will bring about maturity and transformation. Fruit trees are always found in the valley. I have never seen a mountain top with orange trees on it. The same for our life…the fruit or transformation always is produced in the “valley” of life, never on the “mountain top”.
If you are not going through tough times right now, great! Enjoy it. But just know they are coming…so save this email for when you are going through them.
Four or five times in my life I have felt like I was being squeezed, literally, to death. I look back on those times now and can see how I was being squeezed, not to death but to life and transformation.
I still have a long ways to go…so I expect multiple more rounds of tough times to help mature and grow me. I don’t really want them but I know they are inevitable if I want to be all that I can be.
Reframe tough times as times that are absolutely necessary to be all that you can be and reach your potential!
