Short post today.
David Perell, entrepreneur and podcaster, tweeted the following statement several weeks ago, “Read to collect the dots, write to connect them”.
If there has been one discipline in my life that has helped me more than any other over the last several years it has been writing.
Writing has helped me organize and articulate my thoughts, make sense of content that I have consumed, and given me clarity on vision, values and new ideas.
It has truly turned into something that I love to do and feel the need to do it daily!
The more you write the clearer you become as a communicator… and as a leader, clarity is massively important.
If you can’t bring clarity through communication to the people you lead, you will lose trust and minimize your impact…or just flat out be unable to maximize yourself and your program’s potential.
Clarity –> Massively important
Writing –> Leads to more and greater clarity
Writing –> massively important
