I want to challenge you to live joyfully this week.
Joy is not a surface happiness based on your current situation.
Joy is a deeper emotion that is often built on gratitude. I have heard that it is impossible to live in a state of anxiety and gratitude at the same time.
So I tested this theory. Every time I started to worry, get negative, or complain, I stopped and spent a minute listing things and people I am grateful for.
Grateful for what I do have and not what I don’t.
Grateful for the challenges ahead and not anxious about them.
Grateful for where I am at, not discouraged that I am not further along.
Grateful for the people that God has put in my path.
Gratitude leads to joy which leads to a wonderful way to live!
