Most people underestimate the impact of the content we consume.
Our inputs are more important than our outputs because our inputs directly affect our outputs.
But nobody really cares about your input. People only care about your performance or outputs.
The music we listen to, the shows we watch, the people we follow on social media, the people we hang with…they are all influencing and forming us…and we are often not even aware of how deeply they are forming us.
If we will consume things that sharpen us, give us life, and add value to us, our outputs are sure to improve.
If we consume junk, things that dull us, make us cynical, negative, or just simply numb our brains, our outputs are sure to get worse.
Don’t underestimate the impact of your inputs!!!!
Author James Clear has some great advice on how to manage our inputs. |
